The 85th minute.
That's the trigger point you need to remember. Minute 85 of every home match. When you see 85 on the score board we want you to think Man of the Match.
The Supporters Trust took over responsibility for the Man of the Match text vote in September 2009. In the process we slashed the cost to 50p per text in order to make voting for your Man of the Match affordable to all.
There are fixed costs associated with this initiative and we need lots of fans to add 60060 to their mobile address book and to remember to vote in the last few minutes of home matches. You can vote any time up to the 90th minute and possibly just after, but when the final whistle blows the results will be checked and the Man of the Match announced.
Simply type CITY followed by the number of the shirt of your Man of the Match. So for example if Marvin Elliott gets your vote you should type CITY8 and then send the text to 60060.
The Trust is keeping a league table of the results of the Man of the Match vote which we update regularly on the Trust website and we state the top three nominations in each match on the fans forum www.otib.co.uk after every match.
If you are a family member of one of the players, please note that you can send as many texts as you like. They all count. But if you're texting from home be sure to check he's actually playing to avoid suspicion.
All profits from Man of the Match go towards the Statue fund.
